Yukiko Kinkel is a freelance Hair and Make up Artist based in Los Angeles.
She was born in Japan and started to help at her uncle's Hair Salon when she was in High school while also attending beauty school.  She graduated from “The best make up school” by Kose in Tokyo.
After she worked at the hair salon “ Beautrium” and concurrently assisted a well known make up artist, she worked as a freelance Hair and Make up artist for 10 years in Tokyo. She worked for many Japanese celebrities such as Miyuki Imori, Aya Sugimoto, Natsuki Okamoto, to name a few.

In 1999 she moved to Los Angeles and soon started working with great artists. She signed with The Rex Agency for 5 years and is now with the McGowan Spencer Agency. She also became a member of the Local 706 Union for Make up artists.
She works on many different, TV shows, Commercials, Fashion Campaigns, Magazines, Music Videos, and for a few different companies including Fox Sports International.

Her goal is to make people smile and be happy while making them look beautiful.
